Our beachfront restaurant Mai Kana means come, eat and enjoy! We started as restaurant before becoming a resort and now we combine great food, friendly staff and a fantastic ambience, with a unique beachfront setting to make our Mai Kana Restaurant one of the South Pacific’s most memorable restaurants.

At First Landing we know that an important part of any holiday revolves around food. Our local chefs under the watchful eye of Executive Chef who brings a wealth of experience from around the world and will provide an array of culinary delights to your First Landing dining experience. They aim to create local and international dishes to suit any palate. Our menu has dishes from Fiji’s diverse ethnic origins including native Fijian, Indian, Chinese, and European. We feature fresh seafood including our famous lobsters, as well as prime cut tender steaks, pastas, tastes of Asia, tastes of India and other exotic local dishes, using an array of fresh, local produce. Our wood fired pizzas and fresh salads round out the menu. Make sure you also bring your camera to dinner to capture the unique meal presentation by our talented chefs. We also have weekly dining specials with spectacular entertainment including a breathtaking fire dance, a Friday night Beach BBQ where you can dine under the stars with your feet in the sand, a Sunday traditional Lovo, Pasta & Pizza specials…And try to leave room for our delicious desserts which are all totally guilt free…

We also cater for children with a specifically catered menus, that will tempt even the most fussiest of eaters. We also offer an early dining time for children, so mum and dad can have “me time” when it is their turn to dine.
Room service is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner if you wish to dine privately.

A continental breakfast is included in all room rates. Guests may upgrade to a full cooked breakfast at a reasonable price. Guests have the option to purchase a meal plan that includes a one course lunch and two course dinner.

Big Foot Char Grill

At our Big Foot Char Grill, live cooking is the order of the day and our chef’s love to perform! Pick out your own freshly caught lobster, prawns, mud crabs or fresh catch of the day from our local fisherman and have our chef’s prepare a feast for you. If seafood is not for you, the Big Foot Grill has a hearty selection of prime beef steaks, chicken and lamb with a gourmet selection of marinades and sauces to go with your meal. Big Foot Grill is also home to our red hot wood fired pizza oven.

Nalamu & Domoni Sunset Bars

What tropical island escape would be complete without a cool drink to toast the last few rays of our spectacular sunsets and of course a cocktail or two? With our 2 beautiful settings, the Nalamu Bar or Domoni Sunset Lounge Bar, makes our ‘Cocktails in Paradise’ just amazing! We have a range of delicious cocktails to tempt your taste buds, a fine selection of Australian and New Zealand wines and an array of super cold local & imported beers.

Coffee Spot

The daily COFFEE SPOT at Nalamu Bar has a daily cake & coffee special for morning and afternoon teas, a delicious range of coffees, teas, herbal teas, milkshakes, smoothies and iced drinks. The Coffee Spot has fresh cakes, muffins & pastries which are baked daily by our pastry kitchen. A selection of sandwiches and wraps are also available.
