There's so much to do at First Landing!

If you get tired of lying on the beach drinking cocktails, there's plenty of free activities at First Landing Resort!

Our activities bure at the poolside is the place to go to find out what can be planned for the day around the resort.

Perhaps a Fijian cooking class, or a walk through the gardens to learn how Fijians use local plants, bit of fish feeding or learn how to weave coconut leaves into all kinds of practical things, or work on strategies for the evening’s crab race plus many more interesting activities.

The resort has kayaks located at the beachside along with snorkelling gear for our guests which are free of charge.

Island day trips depart daily from our resort’s jetty to the nearby Treasure, Beachcomber and Bounty Islands, which are only a 20-30 minute boat ride away.

The area around these nearby islands is a marine sanctuary where excellent snorkelling and diving can be experienced. Other featured island day trips direct from our resort jetty are the Oolala Cruise to a deserted island, or the Sailing Ship “Whales Tale” which sails past different islands and moors at schooner Island, South Sea Cruises and Captain Cook Cruises also do day cruises, departing from Port Denarau.

One of our popular activities is a trip to the local market with our Executive Chef to pick out the fresh produce for your special cooking class in the kitchen!!! After producing your culinary delight under the watchful eye of Chef and his team…it’s time for a quick freshen up and dining on the beach! For the adventurous dine at the Chef’s Table…right inside the Kitchen!

Nalamu Nippers Kids Club is the best way to entertain your kids during your Fiji holiday escape. The Fijians’ are amazing with kids and you can be assured your children will be well looked after and kept entertained by our First Landing family. The kids will enjoy a mixture of Fiji-inspired games and activities with Fiji flavour. Babysitters are also available.
